Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using Veriship (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. The Service
Veriship provides security audits for web applications, including external scans, code-level reviews, and written reports with prioritized fix recommendations. The Lite Audit is free. The Full Audit is a one-time paid service as described on the pricing page. We may update features, pricing, or availability at any time.
3. Your Responsibilities
Authorization to audit
You represent that you own the application and repository you submit, or have explicit authorization from the owner to request an audit. You are responsible for any consequences arising from submitting assets you are not authorized to have audited.
Security is your responsibility
You are responsible for the code you write and deploy. Veriship is a tool to help surface security issues — it does not guarantee your code is vulnerability-free. You should not rely solely on Veriship for security or regulatory compliance.
4. Audit Reports
Audit reports are delivered for your internal use. You may share reports within your organization and with your direct stakeholders (investors, customers, auditors). You may not resell reports or represent them as your own work product. Findings are based on the state of your application at the time of the audit and may not reflect later changes.
5. Payment & Refunds
The Full Audit is billed as a one-time fee at the time of order. If you are not satisfied with your report, you may request a refund within 14 days of delivery by emailing legal@veriship.app. Refunds are granted at our discretion based on whether the delivered work materially matches what was ordered.
6. Limitation of Liability
Veriship is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to security breaches, data loss, or downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Third-Party Tools
Our audits may incorporate output from third-party tools (such as Lighthouse and open-source vulnerability scanners). Those tools are subject to their own licenses, and we make no warranties on their behalf.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kyoto District Court as the court of first instance.
